People Do Still Read
I do believe that through the inspiration of reading it can transform the Human Consciousness from one of darkness to light, only if we are careful in what we are reading. Remember: Garbage in garbage out.
Our story
As a writer I wondered if people do still read. With so much for us to do, running hither and thither, who has time to read? But the internet has made reading more enjoyable. Like BookTok, Bookstagram, BookTube, and Goodreads.
I love to read a chapter of a book either through print or my tablet in the morning, then if I have time to listen to audiobooks.
Reading has been known to lower stress. Seeing another through their afflictions whether real, (nonfiction), or imagined, (fiction); can teach us to see something other than our own perspective.
